About Black Canyon/Willow Beach River Adventures

Black Canyon/Willow Beach River Adventures is a recreational company in the Lake Mead National Recreation Area below the Hoover Dam on the Colorado River and Lake Mohave. As a concessioner of the National Park Service, we provide day-long scenic raft tours on the Colorado River and rent small boats. The raft tours begin at the Hacienda Hotel where visitors are transported by bus to the base of the Hoover Dam. The rafts travel 12 miles south on the river while raft pilots share information about the history of the area and its geology, plan life, and wildlife. The trip ends at Willow Beach Marina, and visitors are transported back to the Hacienda Hotel.

Willow Beach Marina is located 14 miles south of the Hoover Dam, off Highway 93 in Arizona. In addition to renting small boats to visitors, we operate a convenience store where guests can pick up last-minute supplies for a day out on the water. This area is full of outdoor activities like hiking, water-skiing, kayaking, and canoeing.
